Using steps for a successful home extraction:
1. Clean your hands and face, then gently exfoliate your face, you may do this in the shower to let the hot steam soften the pus or just drape it over your face for a few minutes.
2. Sterilize your tools and the pores. Disinfect your needle and/or comedone extractor by wiping with a rubbing alcohol.
3. Pierce the pimple & Create a small tear: Hold the needle parallel to your skin, and then gently pierce the white part at the top in that same parallel direction.
4. Release the pus. Use the loop on the comedone extractor to pull out the pus. Be extra-cautious not to press too hard!
5. Apply drying lotion. Dab the pimple with rubbing alcohol. Leave your skin alone for at least an hour before applying any makeup.
